Save The Dates

Until recently, a save the date notice has been only suggested for destination events.  However, with busy schedules and friends and family scattered nation-wide or even world-wide, it is becoming a standard mailing that provides additional time for your guests to make travel arrangements, book hotels and find interesting area attractions - making their trip more enjoyable & memorable.

Save the dates should be sent out at least 6 months and up to 1 year before the event date. The save the dates is customarily followed by a formal wedding invitation (or other event invitation). Like wedding invitations themselves, save the date cards follow a broadly-defined etiquette.
